The Chief Executive Officer of ICT Authority, Stanley Kamanguya, has
recognized that Africa is leading a digital commerce revolution that is

He believes that this narrative demonstrates how African startups
and artisans are reaching a global audience, marking a significant shift
towards an unlimited digital marketplace full of opportunities for growth and
innovation.
In a LinkedIn post titled "Clicks Beyond Borders to Fuel Africa's
E-Commerce," Mr. Kamanguya cited digital commerce as a promising future
for Africa, free from geographical limitations and thriving on the immense
potential of online platforms.
"This is not
just a trend but a leap towards a more inclusive, interconnected economic
reality," he confirmed.
He stated that the upcoming Connected Africa Summit 2024, themed
"Shaping The Future of a Connected Africa: Unlocking Growth Beyond
Connectivity," is set to transcend traditional growth boundaries and offer
a pivotal forum for discussing the pathway to a digitally empowered and
interconnected future for Africa, heralding a new era of growth and prosperity.
The summit which will take place from Sunday,
April 21st to Thursday, April 25th, 2024, is expected to champion a narrative of empowerment and active global engagement towards
a future filled with limitless possibilities for every African entrepreneur in
the digital marketplace.
