Safaricom, the leading telecommunications company in Kenya, has announced a KES 30 million sponsorship deal with the National Olympic Committee-Kenya (NOC-K), making it the exclusive Technology and Payments partner for Team Kenya at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics.

As part of the sponsorship, Safaricom will provide Team Kenya with a range of benefits, including travel insurance, airtime, data bundles, financial literacy workshops, and casual wear. This commitment demonstrates Safaricom's dedication to empowering athletes with the technological and financial tools they need to succeed both on and off the track.

In addition to the sponsorship, Safaricom has partnered with Visa to give four lucky customers and their companions the chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to Paris to support Team Kenya and experience the Olympics firsthand. The prize includes flights, accommodation, food, drinks, and stadium tickets to various Olympics events.

To enter the draw, customers simply need to make a transaction worth KES 1,500 or more via the M-PESA GlobalPay Virtual Visa Card through the M-PESA App.
