M-PESA Africa hosts South Korean climate impact startups to explore sustainable solutions

M-PESA Africa has welcomed a delegation of innovative South Korean startups led by the Korea-Africa Foundation.

The visiting companies, including ThanksCarbon, Solarinno, EcoLinks, TCRK Energy, Blue Gold, Beyond Captur, and A.Virtual Co., Ltd., were hosted by M-PESA Africa's Chief Commercial Officer, Felix Kamenga, alongside Dennis Munyua, Acting Head of Growth and Partnerships, and David Rayner from the commercial team.


The meeting focused on exploring cutting-edge climate change solutions and how M-PESA is harnessing technology and mobile phones to democratize access and empower smallholder farmers.


The discussion also delved into the evolution of M-PESA, highlighting its purpose of transforming lives by connecting over 60 million customers and 6 million businesses to financial services.
