Former Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo meets with Government Delivery Services to enhance performance

In
his new role as Deputy Chief of Staff for Performance and Delivery Management
in the Government of Kenya, Eliud Owalo convened an inaugural meeting with the
Government Delivery Services (GDS) team.
The
meeting aimed to strengthen the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting framework
for government priority projects and programs.
Mr. Owalo in his address stressed the importance of tracking implementation status, facilitating interventions, conducting physical project verifications, and enhancing stakeholder engagement and communication. T
his
approach he said, aligns with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda
(BETA), which prioritizes effective delivery of government services.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Secretary of Administration in the Office of the President, Tom Nyamurata, and Secretary of Performance Management, Joshua Mwiranga.
