Egyptian Space Agency CEO opens New Space Horizons conference in New Alamein

The Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian Space Agency, Professor Dr. Sherif Sedky, has inaugurated the "New Space Horizons between Africa and the Middle East" conference in New Alamein City, as part of the Egypt International Airshow 2024.

In his welcoming speech and presentation, Dr. Sedky disclosed the Egyptian Space Agency's role in fostering regional space collaboration and supporting scientific innovation, hence the importance of cooperation among African and Middle Eastern countries in advancing space exploration and utilization.

The conference brought together a distinguished group of space agency leaders and prominent figures from various African and Middle Eastern countries, providing a platform for discussion and exchange of ideas on the future of space exploration and cooperation in the region.

The event is expected to strengthening regional collaboration in space research and development, with the Egyptian Space Agency playing a key role in driving this initiative forward.
