Ethiopia's Ministry of Innovation and Technology looks to the future with focus on digitalization

The Ministry of Innovation and Technology has embarked on driving significant change in the country's economy through innovation and digitalization. Minister Dr. Beleta Molla disclosed this focus during the Maad Sharing Program, a event held to celebrate the achievements of the past year and set goals for the upcoming year.

Reflecting on the previous year, the minister, noted the substantial impact of innovation and technology on the country's economy, and expressed gratitude to employees for their outstanding performance and role in achieving national results.

Looking ahead to the new year, he reiterated the need for collective effort to transform the way the country works, including promoting peace and development, emphasizing the importance of modernizing the country with digital technology and encouraged employees to work together with empathy, love, and unity to achieve their plans.

The Maad Sharing Program also included a holiday gift for low-income workers, aimed at fostering a sense of family and camaraderie among employees. The event sought to boost staff motivation and strengthen social relationships, ultimately driving the institution's goals.
