Digital health
leaders from across Africa have converged in Naivasha, Kenya, to shape the
future of the Africa Digital Health Network (ADHN). The two-day workshop which was
a resounding success marked by engaging discussions, innovative ideas, and firm
commitments to advancing digital health on the continent brought together
stakeholders from governments, private sector players, academia, civil society,
multilaterals, and innovators.
Through
collaborative efforts, participants defined ADHN's strategic objectives, value
propositions, key action plans, and a robust membership model. This inclusive
approach ensures representation from diverse stakeholders.
The ADHN vision
is clear: to unite Africa's digital health communities, sharing knowledge,
building partnerships, driving innovation, and capacity building. This
collective effort aims to foster collaboration for sustainable health outcomes
across the continent.
The workshop
achieved significant milestones, setting the stage for ADHN's transformative
impact. By establishing a unified platform, ADHN will improve healthcare access
and quality, enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing, increase innovation
and capacity building, and strengthen partnerships among stakeholders.
