MTN Zambia has unveiled its new Alola 4G smartphone, an affordable
device designed to expand modern connectivity to all Zambians. Priced at just
K695, the Alola 4G aims to make digital services accessible across the country.
The phone comes bundled with 3GB of data per month for three months, allowing
users to experience seamless connectivity wherever they are.
During the launch event, MTN Zambia CEO Abbad Reda mentioned the
significance of the new device, stating, "The Alola smartphone is MTN
Zambia’s latest innovation, which we believe will transform the lives of
Zambians. It’s designed to bridge the digital divide, enabling more people to
access digital services and enjoy the benefits of a connected life."
The guest of honor, Minister of Technology and Science, Felix C.
Mutati, commended MTN Zambia’s efforts, noting that the Alola 4G will
accelerate smartphone adoption nationwide, aligning with the government’s goals
of digital inclusion and transformation.
Through initiatives like the Alola 4G, MTN Zambia continues to lead
in digital innovation, striving to enhance Zambia’s progress and ensure that
all citizens benefit from a modern, connected lifestyle.
