Senior
executives of MTN Nigeria and MTN Group have held a high-level engagement with
the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC),
Dr. Aminu Maida, to discuss key issues affecting Nigeria’s telecommunications
sector.

The
meeting brought together MTN Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer and MTN Group
Vice President for Francophone Africa, Dr. Karl Olutokun Toriola, and MTN Group
President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ralph Mupita. Discussions focused on
service quality expectations, spectrum efficiency, transparency, and the
importance of sustained network investment in delivering value to customers.

During
the engagement, MTN leadership reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued
investment in network infrastructure, improving customer experience, and
upholding strong corporate governance practices. These priorities, they noted,
are aligned with the NCC’s regulatory objectives and Nigeria’s broader digital
transformation agenda.
MTN
Nigeria stated that it will continue to work closely with the NCC and other
stakeholders to support a resilient, competitive telecommunications sector
capable of consistently delivering value to Nigerian consumers and businesses.
