Senior executives of MTN Nigeria and MTN Group have held a high-level engagement with the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Dr. Aminu Maida, to discuss key issues affecting Nigeria’s telecommunications sector.

The meeting brought together MTN Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer and MTN Group Vice President for Francophone Africa, Dr. Karl Olutokun Toriola, and MTN Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ralph Mupita. Discussions focused on service quality expectations, spectrum efficiency, transparency, and the importance of sustained network investment in delivering value to customers.

During the engagement, MTN leadership reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continued investment in network infrastructure, improving customer experience, and upholding strong corporate governance practices. These priorities, they noted, are aligned with the NCC’s regulatory objectives and Nigeria’s broader digital transformation agenda.

MTN Nigeria stated that it will continue to work closely with the NCC and other stakeholders to support a resilient, competitive telecommunications sector capable of consistently delivering value to Nigerian consumers and businesses.
