As
part of ongoing stakeholder engagement, Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement
Systems Limited (GhIPSS) has hosted a delegation from the Ghana Association of
Savings and Loans Companies (GHASALC) to explore avenues for strategic
collaboration.
The
delegation, led by Tweneboah Kodua Boakye and Nii Amankra Tetteh, met with
GhIPSS CEO Clara Arthur, senior leadership, and members of the Real Time
Payments team. Discussions focused on how GHASALC member institutions can
leverage Ghana’s interoperable real-time payment infrastructure to improve
operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support financial
inclusion.
The
engagement reaffirmed both organizations’ commitment to promoting
sustainability, good governance, and growth within the savings and loans
sector, while advancing broader efforts to expand access to digital financial
services across Ghana.
