The Chief of Staff of the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, representing Minister Alioune Sall, emphasized that robust, resilient, and accessible digital infrastructure is essential for digital inclusion, a competitive digital economy, and efficient public services.

The discussions underscored universal connectivity as a matter of sovereignty, economic development, and territorial equity. Participants highlighted the state’s commitment to full territorial coverage, improving quality of service, maintaining a stable regulatory framework for investment, and leveraging digital infrastructure for e-health, e-education, e-government, and local innovation.

The meeting also stressed the importance of shared infrastructure, satellite solutions for underserved areas, strengthening the regulator’s role, and fostering responsible public-private partnerships.

Outcomes from the session will inform Senegal’s 2026–2030 digital roadmap, with a focus on moving from analysis to actionable initiatives to connect every territory, business, and citizen.
