The
Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency
(NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, has pledged full support for the Corporate
Affairs Commission’s (CAC) ongoing AI-driven transformation, commending the
Commission for its consistent growth and resilience during its 35th anniversary
celebration in Abuja.

Addressing
the event, Abdullahi praised CAC for maintaining a trajectory of continuous
performance, noting that many organizations experience decline after periods of
success, but CAC continues to “thrive, thrive, and thrive.” He highlighted his
early engagement with the Commission and credited the Registrar General for
prioritizing organizational transformation from the start of his leadership.
The
NITDA DG emphasized that meaningful progress in today’s digital era requires
the integration of artificial intelligence. He affirmed that NITDA would
collaborate with CAC to embed AI across its operations, enhancing workflow
intelligence, simplifying company registration and business management, and
strengthening cybersecurity to protect against hacking and fraud.

Abdullahi
also noted that equipping CAC staff with advanced AI tools would help the
Commission stay ahead of fraudsters, while ensuring that all AI systems
deployed would be ethical, responsible, and aligned with best practices in
technology governance.
