Minister
of ICT, Savannah Maziya has led a key engagement at the Business Eswatini War
Room during the “Leveraging ICT to Spur Private Sector Growth &
Competitiveness” Indaba, organized in collaboration with Business Eswatini. The
Minister delivered a call for urgent and deliberate action, stating that
Eswatini’s digital transformation must be accelerated and coordinated to drive
meaningful change.

Minister
Maziya stressed the need for stronger public-private collaboration, policy
reforms that foster innovation, and robust ICT infrastructure to enable
Eswatini businesses to compete regionally and globally. Private sector
representatives highlighted their expectations for an enabling digital
environment that supports business growth, efficiency, and competitiveness.
During
the engagement, the Ministry showcased two years of progress, including
milestones in digital transformation and infrastructure development, as well as
updates on the “Government in Your Hand” App, designed to improve citizen
access to public services.
