Mr.
Alioune Sall, Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs
has led a delegation to Synapsys Conseils SA, the digital subsidiary of the
Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC Senegal), in a working visit aimed at
strengthening collaboration on digital transformation and technological
sovereignty in Senegal. The delegation included Mr. Isidore Diouf, Director
General of Sénégal Numérique S.A.

The
visit was hosted by Synapsys Director General Mr. Zack Diop and CDC Senegal
Secretary General Mr. Amadou Lamine Guisse. It showcased Synapsys’ expertise in
digital identity, biometrics, and sovereign systems, built on over 25 years of
experience supporting the Ministry of the Interior. Demonstrations highlighted
locally developed solutions, including identification platforms, integrated
management systems, and AI-powered inspection tools.

The
engagement underscored the strategic role of CDC Senegal in financing national
development and supporting the New Deal for Technology through technical
contributions from its subsidiaries.
The
Minister stressed the importance of promoting local expertise and fostering
sovereign technological solutions to advance Senegal’s digital transformation
agenda.
