Yuno
has announced a strategic partnership with Flutterwave aimed at simplifying
payment integration for global businesses expanding into African markets.
The
collaboration enables merchants using Yuno’s unified payments platform to
instantly access Flutterwave’s extensive network of local payment methods
through a single API integration. These include cards, mobile money, and bank
transfers across key African markets such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Tanzania,
Zambia, Rwanda, and South Africa.
The
partnership is designed to address long-standing challenges faced by
international businesses entering Africa’s fragmented payments ecosystem, which
often requires multiple integrations, regulatory compliance processes, and
operational overhead.
Through
the integration, merchants will be able to manage transactions, reconciliation,
and operations centrally via Yuno’s dashboard, while leveraging Flutterwave’s
established local infrastructure and regulatory reach.
CEO
and Founder of Yuno, Juan Pablo Ortega noted that the partnership reduces
friction in market entry and enables businesses to scale across Africa more
efficiently, while maintaining compliance and operational stability. Founder
and CEO, Flutterwave
Olugbenga

global innovators by reducing barriers to entry and enhancing the
interoperability of financial systems across regions.
