Vodacom Lesotho, in collaboration with FNB Lesotho, UNICEF Lesotho, and the Ministry of Education and Training, has launched an initiative aimed at supporting students who did not achieve the expected results in their examinations.

The programme, titled Ha U Felle Mona – Your Journey Does Not End Here, was unveiled in Quthing as a practical intervention designed to help learners rebuild confidence and continue pursuing their academic ambitions after receiving disappointing exam results.

Through the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation, the initiative will sponsor supplementary examination fees for 50 learners sitting for the November 2026 examination period. Beyond financial support, the programme also includes motivation and encouragement sessions, as well as exposure to alternative educational and career pathways intended to help learners stay focused on long-term goals.

Organisers of the initiative say the intervention is designed to remove one of the key barriers faced by students seeking to improve their academic outcomes, while reinforcing the message that a single examination result does not determine a learner’s future prospects.

The partners emphasised that the programme reflects a shared commitment to youth development and education support in Lesotho, with a focus on ensuring that learners are not left behind due to temporary setbacks.

The Ha U Felle Mona initiative underscores the belief that educational journeys can be redirected and strengthened, even after challenges, with the right support systems in place.
