The
National Assembly of Gabon has officially launched a new digital platform aimed
at modernising legislative processes and improving transparency and efficiency
in parliamentary work.
The
initiative, known as the GTLAN (Management of Legislative Work of the National
Assembly) platform, was presented alongside the institution’s new official
website during a ceremony held on April 29, 2026.

The
event was attended by the President of the National Assembly, Honourable Régis
Onanga Ndiaye, members of the Bureau, and a delegation from the National Agency
for Digital Infrastructure and Frequencies (ANINF), led by Director General
Alberto Mounguengui Moudoki.
Developed
by ANINF, the digital tools are designed to streamline legislative processes by
enabling real-time tracking of legal texts, improving procedural traceability,
enhancing collaboration among stakeholders, and facilitating broader
dissemination of institutional information.
Officials
said the platform represents a shift toward a more transparent and efficient
parliamentary system, aligned with contemporary governance and digital
transformation standards.

The
initiative forms part of Gabon’s broader national strategy to modernise public
administration and strengthen digital sovereignty, in line with the
government’s vision for institutional reform and technological advancement.
Authorities
noted that the deployment of locally developed expertise underscores the
country’s commitment to building internal capacity for digital transformation
while improving the performance of state institutions.
ANINF
described the project as a key step in positioning digital technology as a
central tool for governance, efficiency, and public sector modernisation in
Gabon.
