Orange Burkina Faso has been honoured by Arrondissement No. 11 of the city of Ouagadougou for its contribution to community development under the Presidential Initiative for Community Development (IPDC).

The recognition was presented during the fourth edition of the “Generous Donors” ceremony held on July 3, 2026, as part of national efforts to promote local development initiatives and strengthen collaboration between public institutions and private sector actors.

According to the company, the award reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable social impact through corporate citizenship programmes aligned with Burkina Faso’s national development vision.

The ceremony was organised under the authority of local administrative leaders, including representatives of the Special Delegation of the municipality of Ouagadougou and Arrondissement No. 11, who acknowledged the company’s role in supporting community-focused interventions.

Orange Burkina Faso stated that it remains committed to supporting endogenous development strategies that contribute to improving living conditions and fostering inclusive growth across communities in Burkina Faso.

The company added that its teams will continue working with local authorities and communities to advance initiatives that deliver long-term socio-economic benefits, particularly in areas aligned with national development priorities.
