Burkina Faso has been honoured by Arrondissement No. 11 of the city of
Ouagadougou for its contribution to community development under the
Presidential Initiative for Community Development (IPDC).
The
recognition was presented during the fourth edition of the “Generous Donors”
ceremony held on July 3, 2026, as part of national efforts to promote local
development initiatives and strengthen collaboration between public
institutions and private sector actors.
According
to the company, the award reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering
sustainable social impact through corporate citizenship programmes aligned with
Burkina Faso’s national development vision.
The
ceremony was organised under the authority of local administrative leaders,
including representatives of the Special Delegation of the municipality of
Ouagadougou and Arrondissement No. 11, who acknowledged the company’s role in
supporting community-focused interventions.

Burkina Faso stated that it remains committed to supporting endogenous
development strategies that contribute to improving living conditions and
fostering inclusive growth across communities in Burkina Faso.
The
company added that its teams will continue working with local authorities and
communities to advance initiatives that deliver long-term socio-economic
