Sierra Leone Chief Executive, Officer Aicha Touré has reaffirmed the company's
commitment to customer engagement and operational excellence following a
nationwide field tour that took her across several regions of the country.
The
visit covered Freetown, Waterloo, Port Loko, Kono, Makeni, Kenema and Bo, where
Touré met with employees, customers, business partners and local leaders to
gather firsthand insights into the company's operations and identify
opportunities for improvement.
According
to the CEO, direct engagement with stakeholders remains essential to informed
decision-making and continuous service improvement. She noted that interactions
with communities and frontline teams provide valuable perspectives that help
shape the company's business strategy.
Touré
said the tour reinforced Orange Sierra Leone's position as one of the country's
leading telecommunications providers despite ongoing global challenges
affecting the industry, including rising operational costs and the demands of
maintaining energy-intensive network infrastructure.
She
attributed the company's performance to its continued focus on service
excellence, innovation and delivering meaningful impact for customers across
Sierra Leone.
The
CEO also commended Orange Sierra Leone employees for the successful execution
of the nationwide tour, acknowledging the contributions of the company's
leadership team and staff in ensuring productive engagements throughout the
visit.
