UniPod Malawi is
participating in the National Youth Summit 2026 in Lilongwe, using the event to
showcase how technology, innovation and digital creativity can support youth
development and entrepreneurship.
The summit, being held at
the Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC), is organised under the theme
“Accelerating Progress: Reflecting on Impact, Expanding Prospects for Youth
Development in Malawi.”
The gathering brings
together young people, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers and development
partners to exchange ideas and explore solutions to support Malawi’s
development.
At its showcase, UniPod is
demonstrating technologies, services and opportunities available to young
innovators through its innovation ecosystem, highlighting the role of digital
tools in transforming ideas into practical solutions.
The organisation is also
using the summit to engage participants on opportunities available within its
ecosystem and encourage young people to explore technology and innovation as
pathways to entrepreneurship, skills development and economic participation.
UniPod said its
participation reflects its commitment to supporting a youth-driven innovation
ecosystem and creating opportunities for young Malawians to develop solutions
to local challenges.
The National Youth Summit
provides a platform for stakeholders to strengthen collaboration around youth
development, while UniPod’s presence highlights the growing role of technology
and innovation in shaping Malawi’s future.
