Digital Public Infrastructure in Cameroon.”
The three-day forum brought

future.
Alain Nono, Chief Executive
Officer of Mobile Money Corporation, represented the company at the opening
ceremony, alongside members of the government, telecommunications sector
stakeholders and the Representative of the International Telecommunication Union
for Central Africa and Madagascar.
The forum was chaired by
Minette Libom Li Likeng, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, who
represented the Prime Minister.
Discussions during the forum
focused on the role of data, interoperability and digital public infrastructure
in supporting Cameroon’s digital transformation.
Participants examined issues
surrounding the development of digital systems capable of working together and
supporting more efficient and accessible digital services.
For MTN Cameroon and Mobile
Money Corporation, the engagement provided an opportunity to contribute to
discussions on the future of digital technology and the development of an
inclusive digital ecosystem.
The companies said the
discussions align with their ambition to support a digital environment that is
more inclusive, accessible and secure, while using technology to contribute to
community development and national economic progress.
