Nine Togolese EdTech
startups have completed an accelerated incubation programme focused on
e-learning, as part of efforts to strengthen local digital skills and build a
stronger education technology ecosystem in Togo.
The programme enabled the
participating startups to strengthen their capabilities and consolidate their
projects through a series of training and market-readiness activities.
The startups began with a
two-week immersion in Vienna, followed by participation in eLearning Africa
Ghana 2026 and a subsequent work phase focused on business models, market
positioning and readiness for commercial opportunities.
The closing ceremony
provided an opportunity for the startups to present lessons from the programme
and showcase their solutions through collective presentations and a marketplace
that brought together stakeholders from the EdTech ecosystem.
The programme concluded with
the presentation of certificates to the nine participating startups.
The initiative is aimed at
strengthening local digital capabilities while supporting the development of a
more structured Togolese EdTech ecosystem that is better connected to market
and development opportunities.
The programme is an
initiative of Togo’s Ministry of Public Service Efficiency and Digital
Transformation, led by Djanta Tech Hub and implemented by Common Sense
eLearning & Training Consultants.
It was supported by
ProDigiT, a GIZ Togo project co-financed by the German Federal Ministry for
Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Luxembourg and the European Union.
