The Telecommunications/ICT
Regulatory Authority of Côte d'Ivoire (ARTCI) is participating in a regional
training workshop on digital regulation in Douala, Cameroon, to strengthen its
teams’ expertise and improve regulatory practices amid ongoing digital
transformation.
The workshop is organised by
the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Islamic Development Bank,
ART Cameroon and the Digital Regulation Academy.
ARTCI’s participation forms
part of its mission to strengthen staff skills, share experiences with other
African regulatory authorities and contribute to the development of regulatory
approaches suited to emerging digital challenges.
The engagement also provides
an opportunity for the authority to exchange knowledge with regional
counterparts on digital regulation and collaborative approaches to oversight.
According to ARTCI, the
initiative contributes to strengthening modern, collaborative regulation
adapted to digital challenges in Côte d’Ivoire and across Africa, with the aim
of supporting citizens and innovation.
