Djibouti and Armenia have
explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in digital technology,
artificial intelligence, innovation and human capital development during a
meeting between their representatives in Djibouti.
Djibouti’s Minister Delegate
in charge of Digital Economy and Innovation, Safia Mohamed Ali Gadileh,
received Armenia’s Ambassador to Djibouti, Sahak Sargsyan, during his visit to
the country.
The discussions focused on
opportunities for cooperation in human capital development, digital skills,
artificial intelligence, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The two sides also expressed
interest in models of centres of excellence such as TUMO and Armath, which
could inform cooperation in developing digital skills and technological
capabilities.
Gadileh thanked Sargsyan for
visiting the ministry and for his interest in strengthening cooperation between
the two countries.
The engagement highlights
the potential for Djibouti and Armenia to expand bilateral collaboration in
developing talent and advancing the skills and technologies needed for the
digital economy.
“Investing in today's talent
to build tomorrow's skills and technologies,” the ministry said.
