Vodacom Congo is taking part
in the African grand final of the Hack World Cup 2026 in Johannesburg, South
Africa, where its employees are competing with technology talents from other
markets in the group.
The team has been in
Johannesburg since Monday, according to Vodacom Congo, which said the
participation highlights the growing visibility of Congolese technology
innovation across the continent.
The team’s mission is to
develop bold technology solutions aimed at revolutionising everyday life while
raising the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s flag on the pan-African stage.
Vodacom Congo described the
trip as “concrete proof that innovation is a concert of nations,” adding that
it provides employees with an international springboard, stimulating challenges
and the means to turn their ambitions into reality.
The company said the
initiative reflects its culture of giving employees opportunities to take their
ideas beyond borders.
