Vodacom Mozambique’s Red Eye
team has won the Customer category at Hackathon 2026, securing first place at
the continental level and a place in the global final of the HackWorldCup.
The team stood out among
participants from various African markets in the competition, which challenges
employees to transform ideas into solutions to real challenges, promoting
innovation, collaboration and better customer experiences.
Vodacom Mozambique said the
achievement demonstrates that putting the customer at the centre goes beyond
the services the company provides. It also involves innovating, challenging
existing practices and creating better experiences for the future.
The company congratulated
the Red Eye team on the achievement and for taking Mozambican talent further.
