Rwanda ICT Minister meets RSwitch Board to discuss digital financial services priorities

Rwanda’s Minister of ICT and Innovation, Paula Ingabire, has met with the Board of Directors of RSwitch to discuss the company’s strategic vision, progress made by its eKash platform and plans to strengthen its impact.

The meeting focused on RSwitch’s priorities and opportunities to further advance digital financial services in Rwanda.

According to the Ministry of ICT and Innovation, the discussions also reviewed the progress made by eKash and explored plans to strengthen the company’s contribution to the country’s digital financial services sector.

The engagement forms part of efforts to advance Rwanda’s digital financial services ecosystem and strengthen the impact of initiatives supporting the country’s digital transformation.
