Samsung has unveiled its
latest Galaxy S22 smartphone series and Galaxy S8 Tablet on Wednesday at the
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event.
The devices supported by 5G
technology have features advances in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and display
technology.
Galaxy S22 smartphone
The new Galaxy S22
smartphone which comes in standard Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models has
features including a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip and Exynos 2200 chip.
Currently going for $799,
$999, and USD 1,199 respectively, the S22 models features again a 12 MP
ultra-wide camera, 108 MP wide-angle camera, 10MP 3-times optical-zoom camera,
10 MP 10-times optical zoom camera, and 40MP “selfie” camera; a new camera
technology that focuses on giving customers the best experience when taking shots.

Tablet S8 tablet
The Galaxy Tab S8 also
comes in three models in the form of the standard Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8
Ultra.
Among the features of
this line is up to 14.6-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate on all models,
the supposed faster processor on the Galaxy Tab line yet, 4K video recording,
and a sturdy aluminum frame to name a few.
The new tablets are now
priced at $699, $899, and $1099 respectively, and are set to ship on February
25.
During the event, Samsung
assured customers that their products would be supported for a long time to
come as it promises that the new S22 line will get a guaranteed four years of
Android OS updates.
It further revealed that
it has partnered with Snapchat to bring the best out of Galaxy S22 and Galaxy
Tab S8 lineup to offer consumers some of the best photo and video creation
tools.
