The Regional Africa Satellite Communication Organization (RASCOM) and the Senegal Space Study Agency (ASES), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the ongoing African Union (AU) – European Union (EU) Dialogue in Dakar, Senegal.

Signed by the Acting Director-General of the Regional Africa Satellite Communication Organization (RASCOM), Timothy Adi Ashong and the Director General of Senegal Space Study Agency (ASES), Dr. Maram Kaire, the MoU is aimed at enhancing and expediting Senegal’s digitization initiatives by harnessing the capabilities of satellite communication solutions.

It’s also expected to revolutionize various sectors of the Senegalese economy and help bridge the digital gap by leveraging advanced satellite communication technologies and bringing essential services to even the remote and underserved areas of the country.
