Sylvie Becker, Expert in Digital Strategy and Finance, Joins the Board of Directors of ACT Afrique Group

Dakar, Senegal - The pan-African expert in strategic consulting, finance, and communication  ACT Afrique Group has announced the appointment of Sylvie Becker as a member of the Board of Directors by decision, effective January 2nd, 2022.

Born in Senegal, Sylvie Becker is Belgian and Senegalese, and spent her childhood between Senegal and Morocco, before moving to Belgium and then to the United States as part of her university studies (Université́ Libre de Bruxelles, The George Washington University, Harvard Business School) and her professional career (Citibank North America, UBS Switzerland, Lloyds Private Bank, Lombard Odier, Banque Cantonale de Genève).

She has a solid experience of more than 20 years in corporate strategy, digital, marketing, communication, with a specialization in digital finance.

Until 2021, she held the position of Executive Director of Rawsur Assurances, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a pioneer in digital insurance. Additionally, she was a member of the Management Committee, in charge of strategy, digital marketing, communication, and human capital.

Mrs. Becker, who lives and works in an international context, is now mobilizing her expertise with leading pan-African players such as Attijariwafa Bank CBAO (Senegal), Rawsur Assurances (RDC), and the launch of digital banks in Africa.
