Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform holds handover ceremony in Rabat

The outgoing Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, Mrs. Ghitha Mezour, has officially handed over her position to Mrs. Amal Falah Seghrouchni during a ceremony held at the ministry’s headquarters in Rabat. The event, which was attended by the Directors General of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency and the Digital Development Agency, as well as various ministry officials, marked a significant transition in leadership within the ministry.

In her first address as the new Minister Delegate, Mrs. Amal Falah Seghrouchni expressed her profound gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for the royal confidence placed in her. She commended the achievements of her predecessor, Mrs. Mezour, emphasizing that the success of the ministry's projects related to digital transition and administrative reform relies on the collective efforts of its dedicated human resources. Mrs. Seghrouchni affirmed her commitment to building on the foundation laid by her predecessor, pushing forward with initiatives that will drive Morocco's digital transformation.

Mrs. Mezour, in her farewell remarks, congratulated Minister Seghrouchni on her new appointment and expressed confidence in her ability to lead the ministry forward. She also took the opportunity to thank the ministry’s employees for their hard work and dedication during her tenure. She praised the high level of expertise within the ministry, acknowledging the role played by its staff in advancing Morocco’s digital and administrative modernization.
