A panel discussion at the
Digital Skilling and Jobs Summit – Siaya Edition brought together key players
from Kenya’s innovation ecosystem to guide young people on accessing digital
skills training, online work opportunities and innovation support.
The session, organised by Konza
Technopolis, focused on how youth can benefit from digital hubs and emerging
technologies to build careers and develop solutions within the growing digital
economy.

The discussion was moderated
by the Chief Manager for Business Development and Innovation at Konza
Technopolis and featured several industry leaders, including Magdaline
Chepkemoi, Chief Executive Officer and founder of EldoHub, Wycliffe Omondi,
co-founder of BuuPass, and Humphrey Muchuma, founder and Group Chief Executive
Officer of INUA AI Group.
Other participants included Shisia
Wasilwa from the Open University of Kenya and Rukiya Mohamed of Swahilipot Hub.

During the discussion,
panelists shared insights on leveraging digital platforms, innovation hubs and
emerging technologies to create employment opportunities and support
entrepreneurship among young people.
Organisers said the session
aimed to encourage youth to take advantage of the growing network of digital
innovation hubs and skills programmes available across the country to
participate in the expanding digital economy
