The
Vodacom Mozambique Foundation has formalized the delivery of 1,000 dignity kits
to the Office of the First Lady in Mozambique to support women and girls
affected by recent floods.
The
donation was handed over through the office of Gueta Chapo, the First Lady of
Mozambique, who has been actively engaging with communities impacted by the
disaster. According to officials, the kits had already been distributed earlier
to ensure that assistance reached beneficiaries as quickly as possible.

The
dignity kits are intended to provide essential items that support the health,
safety, and well-being of women and girls during emergency situations, when
they often face increased vulnerabilities.
The
foundation said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to
supporting communities during times of crisis and working with authorities and
partners to deliver timely humanitarian assistance.

Vodacom
Mozambique Foundation also expressed solidarity with families affected by the
floods and reaffirmed its readiness to continue collaborating with stakeholders
to ensure that relief efforts reach those most in need.
