Orange
Digital Center Sénégal has organised a series of digital skills training
sessions for women as part of activities marking Women’s Month, aimed at
strengthening female participation in the digital economy.
The
initiative forms part of the Techki programme and is delivered through the
Digit'elles initiative, which focuses on empowering women with practical
technology skills.

According
to organisers, the training sessions are held every Saturday throughout March
and provide participants with free access to digital learning opportunities
designed to build capacity in emerging technologies.
During
the most recent session, participants explored the fundamentals and practical
applications of artificial intelligence, with discussions centred on how women
can leverage AI skills to participate in the growing digital economy.

Officials
at Orange Digital Center Sénégal said the programme is intended to support
female talent development and encourage greater inclusion of women in
technology-driven sectors. The training series will continue with additional
modules in the coming weeks as part of efforts to expand digital literacy and
strengthen women’s participation in innovation and entrepreneurship.
