Senior
officials from Ethiopia’s Defense War College have undertaken a professional
visit to the Information Network Security Administration (INSA) as part of
efforts to align military strategy with evolving technological capabilities.

The
visit, conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense, focused on
strengthening the interface between theoretical military training and practical
cybersecurity operations. Discussions centered on modern cyber warfare
strategies and the country’s preparedness to address emerging digital threats.
During
the engagement, INSA Deputy Director General Daniel Guta welcomed the
delegation and outlined the agency’s ongoing initiatives to secure Ethiopia’s
critical information infrastructure. He emphasized efforts to enhance national
capacity in cybersecurity and promote greater technological self-reliance.

The
visiting officials from the Defense War College highlighted the growing
significance of cyberspace in modern conflict, noting that future warfare will
increasingly extend beyond traditional land, sea, and air domains to include
cyber operations.
They
underscored the importance of continued collaboration and knowledge exchange
between military institutions and cybersecurity agencies as a means of
strengthening national defense and resilience in an increasingly digital global
environment.
