MTN Ghana delegation donates GH₵200,000 to National Chief Imam ahead of Eid al-Fitr

delegation from MTN Ghana and MoMo from
MTN GH has presented cash and assorted food items valued at GH₵200,000 to the
National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu,
in the lead-up to the Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
The delegation was led by Ibrahim Misto, who described the gesture as part
of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting communities and strengthening
its relationship with the Muslim community in Ghana.
The donation comes as Muslims across the country
prepare to mark the end of Ramadan, with the initiative aimed at contributing
to the welfare of communities during the festive period.
MTN Ghana
noted that beyond its core focus on technology and connectivity, the company
continues to invest in social impact initiatives that support community
development and foster inclusivity across the country.
