The discussions addressed
citizen concerns around internet access and costs, connectivity gaps, digital
inclusion for persons with disabilities, online safety, and civic education.

Principal Secretary Dr.
Aminah Zawedde highlighted ongoing initiatives to expand regional ICT hubs,
improve connectivity, and strengthen measures to mitigate harmful online
content.
Dr. Zawedde also emphasized
the importance of inclusive digital services, citing progress in supporting
persons with visual impairments at the National ICT Innovation Hub through

efforts nationwide.
