RSwitch achieves ISO and PCI DSS certification, strengthening Rwanda’s payment security

RSwitch has reached a major
milestone in payment security and operational reliability, earning
certification under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and PCI DSS standards.
The certifications,
announced by the company, reflect months of rigorous training, audits, and
independent assessments aimed at reinforcing security, discipline, and trust
across Rwanda’s payment ecosystem.
RSwitch emphasized that
these achievements go beyond technical compliance, providing assurance that
every transaction, transfer, and interaction on its network is backed by
systems and personnel tested to meet international benchmarks.
As Rwanda advances toward a
cashless and inclusive economy, RSwitch’s certification underscores its
commitment to building a reliable and resilient financial infrastructure,
ensuring that trust in digital payments is not assumed but demonstrably earned.
