ACTS hosts Trilateral Workshop to promote renewable energy collaboration

The African Centre for
Technology Studies, in partnership with The Transition Think Tank and the
British High Commission, is hosting the second Trilateral Knowledge Exchange
Workshop on renewable energy, bringing together stakeholders from Kenya,
Botswana, and the United Kingdom.
The workshop builds on
outcomes from the inaugural session held in Gaborone, Botswana, which focused
on institutional arrangements and regulatory frameworks. The current session in
Nairobi is centered on system design, technology innovation, inclusion, and
financing, reflecting a shared commitment to accelerating renewable energy
adoption.
Participants include
policymakers, researchers, and industry experts working collaboratively to
strengthen cross-country partnerships and develop sustainable energy solutions
that support the transition to cleaner energy systems.
