President Kagame hosts Harvard students, highlights Rwanda’s 32-year transformation

Rwandan President Paul Kagame this afternoon received graduate students and fellows from the Harvard Kennedy School, various Harvard University schools, and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University at Urugwiro Village. The delegation was concluding their week-long Harvard Rwanda Trek 2026.

During the exchange, President Kagame highlighted Rwanda’s transformation over the past 32 years, emphasizing the country’s commitment to efficient and accountable governance, institution-building, investment in the next generation, and advancing self-reliance.

The session provided an opportunity for students to engage with Rwanda’s development journey and gain insights into the policies and initiatives that have driven national progress.
