MTN MoMo Uganda has
reaffirmed its partnership with Centenary Bank following a leadership
engagement between the two institutions at MTN Uganda’s head office.
The meeting brought together
senior executives from both organisations and was led by MTN Uganda Managing
Director Phrase Lubega.
The engagement also provided
an opportunity for Centenary Bank’s outgoing Managing Director, Dr Fabian Kasi,
to introduce his successor, Byekwaso Godfrey, as the bank prepares for the
leadership transition.
The two institutions
reaffirmed their longstanding partnership and commitment to supporting Uganda’s
financial services ecosystem through continued collaboration.
MTN MoMo Uganda and
Centenary Bank said their cooperation remains focused on strengthening networks
and financial services that serve customers, merchants and agents across the
country.
The companies also
highlighted the role of continued collaboration in improving access to digital
financial services and making them more convenient and impactful for Ugandans.
MTN MoMo Uganda acknowledged
Dr Kasi’s contribution to the partnership and welcomed Byekwaso Godfrey,
expressing its commitment to working with the incoming managing director to
build on the relationship between the two institutions.
