Company PLC (SAHCO) has moved to strengthen its collaboration with the Nigeria
Customs Service (NCS) following a courtesy visit to the newly deployed
Comptroller of Customs at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Customs
Area Command.
SAHCO Managing Director and
Chief Executive Officer, Adenike Aboderin, led a company delegation on the
visit to the new Comptroller, Godwin Otunla.
The engagement focused on
strengthening cooperation between the aviation handling company and the NCS,
with particular attention to improving operational efficiency and supporting
revenue collection at the airport.
Aboderin reaffirmed SAHCO’s
commitment to working closely with Otunla and the Customs Service to facilitate
seamless operations and strengthen coordination among agencies operating within
the aviation environment.
The discussions also
highlighted the importance of effective inter-agency collaboration in
supporting efficient airport operations and achieving revenue targets.
SAHCO said continued
cooperation with the Nigeria Customs Service would contribute to smoother
operations and reinforce the company’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s
aviation and trade ecosystem.
