Djibouti has reaffirmed its
commitment to supporting young people, innovation and entrepreneurship during
the fourth edition of the C-Star programme.
The Minister of the Ministry
Delegate in charge of Digital Economy and Innovation, Mrs Safia Mohamed Gadileh
participated in the programme, which is dedicated to promoting youth,
innovation and entrepreneurship.
In her address, the Minister
reaffirmed Djibouti’s commitment to empowering its youth and positioning
innovation as a key driver of the country’s digital and economic
transformation.
She encouraged young
entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into viable projects and translate their
ambitions into concrete achievements, emphasising the importance of creating
opportunities for young people to contribute to the country’s development.
The Minister also
highlighted Djibouti’s strategic position as a regional platform for talent,
innovation and cooperation between Africa and China.
The C-Star programme
provides a platform for young people and entrepreneurs to engage around
innovation and entrepreneurship while strengthening connections between
emerging talent and broader opportunities for collaboration.
