MTN MoMo Uganda Managing
Director Phrase Lubega has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening
collaboration with its dealer network as the mobile money business looks to
deepen its contribution to Uganda’s digital ecosystem.
Lubega hosted a
cross-section of MTN MoMo dealers who paid a courtesy visit to welcome him back
to the business, nearly nine years after his previous stint with MTN MoMo.
The meeting brought together
dealers who have played a role in the evolution of mobile money services in
Uganda and continue to serve as an important link between MTN MoMo and the
customers and agents who rely on its services.
Discussions focused on
opportunities ahead for the business and the collective role of MTN MoMo and
its dealer partners in strengthening Uganda’s digital ecosystem.
The engagement also
highlighted a shared commitment to deepen collaboration and continue delivering
reliable mobile money services to millions of Ugandans.
MTN MoMo Uganda expressed
appreciation to its dealers for the warm welcome and their continued
partnership as the company works with its network of partners to shape the next
chapter of mobile money services in the country.
