Yas Tanzania has graduated
more than 20 department heads from a specialised leadership development
programme conducted in partnership with Strathmore Business School (SBS), as
the telecommunications company seeks to strengthen leadership capacity and support
the country’s digital transformation.
The programme equipped
participants with skills to lead teams, drive innovation and deliver greater
impact across the organisation.
Yas Tanzania said the
initiative reflects its belief that “investing in people is investing in the
nation’s future.”
The company said developing
capable leaders would strengthen its ability to improve digital services,
empower businesses and contribute to Tanzania’s digital transformation and
national development.
Through the leadership
development programme, Yas Tanzania aims to build organisational capacity and
equip its department heads to support innovation and deliver improved outcomes
for the business and the communities it serves.
