Senegal Services, in
collaboration with the Global Development Network (GDN), is contributing to
efforts to address the knowledge gap surrounding the impacts of digital
transformation across territories through research into public policies in the
digital age.
On October 19, 2026, Senegal
Services participated in a workshop to co-construct a national research agenda
on public policies in the digital age, organised ahead of the Dakar Regional
Forum in partnership with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Digital
Affairs, with support from the International Development Research Centre
(IDRC).
Discussions focused on
digital governance, access to data, interoperability and digital inclusion,
highlighting key issues shaping the development and implementation of digital
public services.
For Senegal Services, the
discussions align with an ambition to bring the administration closer to
citizens and improve the accessibility, quality and efficiency of public
services.
The organisation said
sustainable digital transformation must be based on research, reliable data and
better consideration of users’ needs.
