Rwanda’s digital services
company Irembo has held bilateral engagements with government delegations from
Congo-Brazzaville, Niger, Malawi, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Mozambique and
Uganda during the World Bank Group Global AI & Digital Summit to discuss
national digital priorities, implementation challenges and opportunities for
collaboration.
The discussions focused on
shared priorities, practical lessons and the systems required to deliver
digital services at scale, as governments and global partners shape the next
phase of digital transformation.
Irembo said the engagements
provided an opportunity to share lessons from Rwanda while learning from the
ambitions and realities of other markets.
The company said its
participation reflects a broader commitment to contributing to global
discussions on trusted digital public infrastructure, stronger institutions and
improved access to services.
“The opportunity is not
simply to digitise more. It is to build systems that work, earn trust and
create meaningful outcomes for people,” Irembo said.
The engagements took place
alongside the summit’s main programme, creating space for exchanges between
Irembo and government delegations on approaches to digital transformation and
areas where deeper collaboration could create value.
