President Kagame hosts luncheon for Heads of State and Dignitaries at Africa CEO Forum

President Paul Kagame of Rwanda hosted a luncheon on Friday in honor of Heads of State and Government, and other dignitaries attending the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali. The event brought together a distinguished group of leaders, including President William Ruto of Kenya, President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique, and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, among others.

The luncheon was held on the sidelines of the two-day annual summit, which gathered over 2,500 business leaders, investors, and policy makers from across Africa and around the world. The forum aimed to highlight the driving role of the private sector in the development of the continent.

This year's theme, "At the table or on the menu? A critical moment to shape a new future for Africa," emphasized the need for African leaders to take an active role in shaping the continent's future. Organizers noted that the meeting provided an opportune moment to discuss what is needed to boost African development through the dynamics of growth offered by the continent's private sector.
