Telecel Central Africa
has laid the foundation stone for its new headquarters, a state-of-the-art
building in the Central African Republic’s capital, Bangui.
At a brief ceremony
attended by His Excellency Mr. Justin Gourna Zacko, Minister of Digital
Economy, Posts and Telecommunications, the new headquarters, designed with the
latest construction and computer technologies, aims to provide a comfortable
and quality work environment, reflective of Telecel's image and its commitment
to the capital city of Bangui. The building has been designed with
eco-responsibility in mind, aligning with Telecel's dedication to social and
environmental responsibility (ESG).
According to Irène Moussa
Kembe, Managing Director of Telecel Central Africa, "This project marks a significant milestone in our journey towards
digital development in the Central African Republic. We are committed to
providing cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to our customers,
and this new headquarters will enable us to do just that."
Malek Atrissi, Chairman
of the Board of Directors of Telecel Centrafrique, added, "After being the first operator to launch fibre optics in CAR,
this project once again demonstrates our dedication to driving digitalization
and economic development in the country. We are starting a new era of
innovation and digitalization in CAR, which will bring numerous opportunities
for economic growth, improved quality of life, and multifaceted
development."
The new headquarters is
expected to be completed soon, and will serve as a hub for Telecel's operations
in the region, providing a platform for innovation, collaboration, and
customer-centric services.
