The CEO of Telecel Group,
Moh Damush, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Posts and
Telecommunications of the Central African Republic (CAR), Justin Gourna
Zacko as part of a visit to the country, where he is been accompanied by Malek
Atrissi, Telecel's COO.
During the meeting,
Damush reaffirmed Telecel's commitment to CAR's telecom future and announced
several key initiatives, including boosting investments in Telecel's services
and coverage in CAR, reducing carbon footprint by solarizing the network and expanding
fintech and enterprise services to support economic growth
Following the meeting,
Damush and Atrissi visited Telecel CAR's headquarters, where they engaged with
employees, answered questions, and discussed the company's progress.
The visit also included a
meeting with Miss Centrafrique France, where they discussed cooperation
opportunities to empower women and youth in CAR.
Finally, Telecel
inaugurated its new headquarters in Bangui, a cutting-edge hub for innovation
and collaboration. This follows Telecel's recent achievement of being the first
operator to connect CAR with fiber optics, a key milestone in the country's
digital transformation.
